We're a group of folks who just can't get enough of Italian culture: the food, wine, arts, cinema, language, automobiles, sports and the overall "dolce vita." Our goal is to get as close to Italy as possible without leaving AZ, immersing ourselves in all things Italian. Knowledge of Italian is not required. I'm looking for a small group of people who would like to read contemporary books in the Italian language. Examples are Senza Sangue by Alessandro Baricco or Io non ho paura by Niccolo' Ammaniti. We'll focus on short books of 150 pages or less. If Italian isn't your native language you need to have at least a year of formal Italian class but preferably two years and be at the low intermediate level (A2-B1 in European language terms).
